SmartPowerSave is a nifty piece of software that can automatically shutdown your networked pc's and then turn them on again - at whatever time you like!

Configuring the software is as easy as 1 2 3!

1. Setup your groups. For example, this could be different rooms or departments.

2. Add your computers. Our clever software will automatically find all of the workstations on your network, so all you have to do is drag them into the correct groups.

3. Set the schedule. You can set the on-time and off-time, by day. For example, you could set your machines to come on at 8am and turn off at 5:30pm on weekdays only, leaving them off all weekend.

Once you have completed these simple steps, sit back and relax whilst the software does all of the work in the background! You no longer have to rely on forgetful staff to turn off their computers, from now on its done automatically.

As a side effect, you should notice that the hardware of your computers becomes less prone to breakage, because it is now being used less! Nothing is going to burn out while the pc is needlessly left on, a great plus for hard drives in particular which only have a certain amount of hours before failure due to constant mechanical movement.

Have a projector hooked up to your PC? Your projector can be powered down too when the PC it is attached to is powered down. Save even more £££'s on projector lamps, and benefit from less frequent filter cleaning.

As you become more familiar with the software, you might want to tweak your schedules. The software will calculate in real time the amount of cash you could save by shaving a few minutes off here and there using the built-in cost calculator.
